Sling Fit is Aerial fitness without the height!
Its a full body workout incorporating elements of aerial arts, yoga & pilates whilst suspended close to the ground in a comfortable fabric sling. The class focuses on building strength & flexibility from your toes to your fingertips whilst improving balance, stability & body awareness. The slings will safely support you as your instructor guides you through exercises that are non-jarring & help to elongate the spine, perfect for those with restricted movement or for rehabilitation from injury.

We offer beginner aerial classes in silks, lyra & sling. Our Beginner Aerial Fitness Class has been designed for everyday people, who are looking for an exciting, unique way to get fit! Aerial will work your entire body, give you sexy toned arms and abs you never thought you had PLUS you’ll have so much fun, you won’t realise you’re actually getting fit!

Aerial Silks, also known as Tissu’ is a beautiful long piece of fabric rigged to the ceiling.
Our aerial silks classes follow our unique and structured syllabus created by studio director & professional aerialist, Melise’ Avion’. Students start in the Beginner level where they are introduced to the basics of aerial silks. You will learn how to safely climb, wrap & invert which will form a solid foundation for skills to come. Focusing on correct technique, skills are learnt close to the ground & you will start to move higher as your confidence & skills progress. All students work at their own pace & are grouped according to their ability. Aerial silks classes start with Beginner level & progress to Elementary, Pr-Intermediate, Intermediate & Advanced level.
Adult Aerial Silks Classes are 1.5hrs in length and include a strength and stretching component. Our adult classes operate all year round on a continual basis which means you can enrol at anytime.
The Lyra or also known as hoop, ring or cereaux (in french) is a beautiful circular steel apparatus.
Our beginner Lyra class will help you to build strength in your upper body & core whilst having fun & getting fit without even realising! Begin by learning a diverse repertoire of skills from our structured syllabus designed by professional aerialist & studio director, Melise’ Avion.
You will learn basic mounts & dismounts to get you up and down safely and then move onto poises & skills which will help build not only your guns but your confidence too! We have Lyra classes from Beginner to Advanced level to keep you moving forward and motivated.
Improve your flexibility with this progressive class that will have you limber in no time! You do not need to be a contortionist to attend this class, it is open to anyone looking at making gains to their flexibility no matter what level you are at. This class has already proven to be successful with many of our students excelling their goals after attending regular weekly classes. Consistency is the key to flexibility.
For beginners who want to learn how to handstand to advanced hand standers who would like to progress their skills to canes, this class will have you balancing like a boss!
Handstands are seriously underrated! The benefits are huge and they are a perfect cross trainer to aerial arts! Not only do they increase upper body strength but they help you learn how to use your core & activate your stabiliser muscles. Taught by a professional, experienced hand balancer… you don’t want to miss this awesome class!!
Hooping is a seriously fun way to keep fit and healthy while developing coordination, balance & rhythm! Working out with a weighted hoola hoop gives you an aerobic workout whilst toning your abs, lower back & thighs! But even better, you will learn skills & tricks that will have you so addicted you will be hooping at home every day of the week! Come along & bring your friends!
The class will offer a mixture of gymnastic skills including handstands, walk overs, cartwheels & flips, focusing on the fundamental technique. This is an open class & caters for both beginners & those more advanced wishing to progress onto more challenging skills.
Core control and body awareness is so important for aerial. Acro skills will not only help your balance and co-ordination but will give you an awareness of your body you never thought was possible.
The class gives you the opportunity to learn a range of ground & manipulation skills such as juggling, diablo, hoola hoops, rolla bolla & unicycling. A great way to improve co-ordination, balance and confidence.
